Our Mission  A group of full-time residents, part-time residents, business people and visitors, having watched the development and SEQRA process for the Belleayre Resort, believes this project, and the development of Belleayre Mt. Ski Center to its Constitutional limit of 25 miles of slopes and trails, will make our community a better place for everyone to live, work and visit. We have formed a coalition of individuals and organizations to:  A. Gather and disseminate information on the Belleayre Resort Agreement in Principle developed by developers, environmental watchdog groups and state and city officials and agencies B. Investigate the economic and environmental issues and concerns still to be resolved and provide information and commentary on those issues C. Disseminate information developed to concerned citizens, elected and appointed officials of government bodies and agencies D. Provide a platform for other individuals and organizations of “like-mind” to share their views and make their voices heard E. Secure legal advice as needed and establish our organization as an interested party in any future negotiations, public hearings or other proceedings that will take place related to the Belleayre Resort. F. Advocate for the growth and development of Belleayre Mt. Ski Center to its full Constitutional limits. You may become involved by: Joining our group Signing an on-line petition Contacting your elected officials Attending public meetings Posting a lawn sign or decal or wearing a pin Talking with your friends and neighbors about the positive aspects of this development.  Remember, economic development and environmentalism are not mutually exclusive. We can have both!
